Bye-Bye Vespa * August 7, 2013

Today was the day on with my daddy Troy's Vespa was picked-up.
Heiko was very lucky to have a co-worker named Elli, who bought it from him.
and very relieved that Troy's beloved Vespa would be in good hands,

We had to go back into time, back into our old apartment in order to pick it up.

Our former neighors Katja and Hati got a cute little human puppy, just three months old, called Hugo.
Such a sweetie. Visiting them, having coffee with them and having Elli along made it much
easier for my dad Heiko to go there.
But finally the bridges to the old apartment are down and I could see that Heiko was absolutely relieved getting the last things out of there. Besides the Vespa there was also Heiko's mountain bike
and our big white garden umbrella.

This is in the cool carpark in the basement of our old apartment,
where also the Vespa and the other stuff have been stored since March 2012.

Lots of fun pozzing around in there.
I always loved it, especially on a rainy day,
so my paws wouldn't get wet.
This was our car's spot: Number 7

And here it goes: Troys beautiful Vespa.

After helping Elli to get out of the city center driving in front of her, we took a nice walk along the Main river.
What a nice and peaceful way of spending some time together and enjoying the evening summer sun.

Water everywhere, but still out of reach, mmhh

As today was another day of saying good-bye to the past that we spent in three,
Heiko showed me where Troy passed away on November 7, 2012.
I had never taken me there before.
He told me how thankful he was that people were taking such good care of Troy back then.
They did whatever they could do in order to save his life,
but unfortunately I guess it was time for him to leave us behind.
We feel him in us every single day.
Thinking of him warms our soul.
* THANK YOU GOD FOR HAVING THOSE WONDERFUL MEMORIES. *

... in the end I finally got to the water and had a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig sip of fresh water.

My Doggie Park * August 2013

I have never told you about my doggie park, correct?

Usually in Germany they just don't excist, unlike in the USA,
which is a real shame.
Sometimes you can find dog runs, big lawns where we are allowed to pozz around,
but they are never fenced in.

This little park I am sure was not planned to be a dog run,
but nobody else uses that beautiful green spot
right in the middle of our borough, just doggies.

Excited to get in!

Finally, RAIN! * August 7, 2013

Yippie, after all that sufferering over the last many days, yesterday and today it rained.
What a relief!!!
Can you see it?
Can you smell it?
Can you feel it?

My new white friend * HOT August 5, 2013

Can you see it in the background?
My new white friend.
Humans call it a "Ventilator",
another of those weird words.
Anyway, it produces a nice breeze and I feel a bit like in Ireland.
Another good thing is the cold kitchen floor tiles.

I just love the Spessart forest * July 2013

I am always happy when we drive up to my grand-parents in the Spessart forest,
about 50 km east of Frankfurt.
Getting out of the city is always a pleasure, especially with this freaking heat.

In Frankfurt my daddy Heiko and I have tiny green paradise.
There it is very huge and very cool.

My grand-dad has bees, busy bees...
Wow, they fast and very diligent.
Now I know where the expression "Bees in the butt" comes from.

This is where the wax is being melted out of the honeycomb.

The apples are growing already.

Hot, hot, hot, it just needs a paw bath in the creek.

Lavander, what a perfume!

Uff, done, let's nap!!!
